About local paths and Finder names

Your label in Mounted, the local mount folder and the name Finder displays are separate. Custom folders may need administrator approval. macOS fallback or an existing connection can use a different path; check the actual mounted path before using it in a script.

Bring shares from different servers into a named group. Choose their order, then mount the group with one action.

Hand over only what’s needed.

Export selected shares with their groups and order intact. Passwords are excluded by default.

Use Test Connection to check the connection and availability of a named share while you set it up.

Open a share’s details to inspect available SMB and channel information, recent activity and apps using the share.
